VAI’s annual User Conference traditionally highlights S2K’s newest features, while allowing attendees the chance to discover best practices for improving operational efficiencies, network with peers and learn about the latest industry trends. In order to facilitate the decision making process, VAI offers existing and potential customers ten reasons to attend the 2010 VAI User Conference:
1. S2K Enterprise Release 5.0 PTF3: VAI will unveil Program Temporary Fix (PTF) 3, which includes a new Purchasing Manager Screen, to consolidate all S2K purchasing options into one comprehensive management window. PTF3 also includes enhancements to Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Capacity Requirements Planning (CRP), General Ledger Financial Report Writer and Warehouse Management.
2. Sales Force Automation: VAI will reveal its new portal based CRM solution, S2K Sales Force, designed to integrate enterprise data with mobile computing devices, such as the Apple iPad and iPhone. This capability gives field sales staff easy, immediate access to customer and product information at the point of customer contact. Sales analysis screens allow sales professionals to track personal sales data, as well as customer and item sales information, to help drive new business and inform sales calls.
3. Qlikview Business Intelligence Dashboards: Business intelligence dashboards connect vital company information and place it at users’ fingertips. VAI now provides integration with Qlickview Dashboards to help companies add value to existing S2K technology investments. With this exciting, user-friendly tool, creating powerful dashboards and useful reports companies can easily identify irregularities before they turn into significant business issues, recognize and analyze opportunities and trends, consistently communicate goals with employees and monitor and evaluate performance.
4. S2K for Food Release 4.7: With a new graphical user interface (GUI), VAI’s Food Release 4.7 offers redesigned screens to provide greater flexibility and access to enhanced data in an easy-to-use enterprise level solution. Enhancements include sophisticated Warehouse Management features, Bank Reconciliation tools, new Rebate and Allowance options, and advanced date and lot control options.
5. S2K Enterprise Portal: VAI continues to extend the enterprise through web-based portals. Using IBM Websphere Portal technology, this solution offers application integration, document management, and web content management and collaboration capabilities in a single, easy-to-deploy solution. Our new portal based Shopping Cart application provides advanced e-commerce options for B2B and B2C environments. IBM WebSphere Portal software makes it easy to connect people, information and applications.
6. VAI Future Development Plans: The next generation of S2K Enterprise will involve integrating Web 2.0 technologies and capabilities with enterprise information systems to transform the work within and across the enterprise. Web 2.0 technology will allow users to do more than just retrieve information over the web. It will provide "network as a platform" computing, permitting users to run S2K Enterprise Software entirely through a browser. This Web 2.0 design will feature a rich, user-friendly interface, with the ability to custom tailor screens.
7. Executive Breakout Sessions: Knowing how to effectively and efficiently run a company or department is an extremely desirable business skill. At this year’s conference, VAI will provide a series of breakout sessions focusing on topics such as strategic pricing, maximizing software investments and effective business analysis to help executives advance their company and their career.
8. “How To” Sessions: Getting the most out of VAI’s software sometimes involves integrating the enterprise solution with outside services. At these newly developed sessions, VAI experts will explain how businesses can sell products on Amazon.com and interface S2K data with online retailers.
