What Does Dynamics CRM 2011 Have That Others Don’t?

Enterprise Software Company, Microsoft, is releasing a new CRM (Customer Relationship Management) solution called Dynamics CRM 2011.  But, what does Dynamics CRM 2011 have that other Enterprise Software Company CRM solutions don’t?  Well, Dynamics CRM 2011 has upgraded features and functions, for one.  For two, customers can purchase the online cloud version of the software or an on-site version, which adds to the temptation.  Dynamics CRM 2011 Online is available in over forty markets and in forty-one languages.  Dynamics CRM 2011 is available in Europe, Central America, South America, Asia Pacific, and the United States.  Microsoft is banking on the European market along with the Asian Pacific countries because there are a lot of customers in these areas without a CRM solution.  In fact, Salesforce.com sells extensively to these areas and thirty percent of their sales is to Europe and Asia Pacific.  Microsoft is hoping to pull the plug on some of Salesforce.com’s earnings by taking some of the European and Asian Pacific CRM market share.  Although, Salesforce.com isn’t the only United States based Enterprise Software Company looking to sell a CRM product to the Europeans and the countries in Asia Pacific.  Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 will also have to compete with the likes of Oracle who has a big presence in Europe and Asia Pacific.  One way Microsoft plans to cream the competition is by competitively pricing Dynamics CRM 2011.  Dynamics CRM 2011 will cost organizations thirty-four dollars per user per month.  This is an incredible savings when compared to Salesforce.com’s solution, which will cost you sixty-five dollars per user per month.  Oracle’s CRM On Demand solution will cost you seventy-five dollars per user per month.  This means that Microsoft has the competition beat as far as pricing goes.  However, Dynamics CRM 2011 will increase in price after one year.  The cost will go from thirty-four dollars to forty-four dollars per user per month, which is still well below Salesforce.com and Oracle prices.  The icing on the cake is that Microsoft plans to give customers the entire cake and not just a slice with Dynamics CRM 2011.  Yes, they are throwing in tons of functionality along with dashboards and all.  I suppose Microsoft is bound and determined to beat out its competition.  The Enterprise Software Company is not new to gaining market share and crushing the competition.  It will be interesting to see how 2011 progresses!
