Enterprise Software Companies that Have What it Takes to Make It Big – Part two


LucidEra is a five year old Enterprise Software Company that is located in San Mateo, California.  LucidEra offers a BI (Business Intelligence) SaaS (software as a service) solution that is best suited for medium sized companies.  LucidEra’s BI SaaS solution will cost you three thousand dollars or more per customer per month for one hundred users.  The CEO of LucidEra is well seasoned and has worked for Siebel, NetSuite, Salesforce.com, and Oracle.  LucidEra has seven million dollars in funding from venture capitalist.  They also have approximately twelve customers.

The next Enterprise Software Company that has what it takes to make it big is a company called Panoratio.  Panoratio has been around for seven years.  They have two headquarters; one in San Francisco, California and the other in Munich, Germany.  Panoratio offers a product that can enhance a business intelligence solution.  With over ten million dollars in funding and forty customers, this company is on its way to the big time.

TimeBridge is an Enterprise Software Company located in San Francisco, California.  This Enterprise Software Company has been in business for five years and offers a collaboration tool.  With well seasoned executives and six million dollars in venture capitalist funding, TimeBridge is well on its way to success.  TimeBridge currently had several hundred customers.
Varonis Systems is an Enterprise Software Company that has been in business for five years.  This company is located in New York and offers an enterprise access solution.  Varonis Systems has a great customer base including several banks and financial based companies.  Varonis has over thirteen million dollars in funding from venture capitalists.

Vertica Systems is a five year old Enterprise Software Company headquartered in Massachusetts.  Vertica Systems offers a database management solution.  Well seasoned executives run Vertica Systems including Stonebraker who was Oracle’s president and COO.  Vertica Systems is well backed financially with over twenty three million dollars in funding from venture capitalists.

Last up is a company called Workday founded by Dave Duffield who also founded PeopleSoft.  Workday is located in California and has been around for about five years.  Workday offers a SaaS ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning solution.  Most of Workday’s funding is from Dave Duffield himself.  Workday currently has approximately ten customers.  Some of these customers include Salesforce.com and RightNow Technologies.
