Just because these solutions come from some of the top MRP ERP vendors doesn’t mean they are right for your business. It’s important to establish your business needs before shopping for an MRP ERP solution. Identify the gaps in your current processes and determine how an MRP ERP solution can fill those gaps. Then, research MRP ERP vendors and make sure the ones with solutions you are interested in implementing have good reputations. It’s a good idea to talk with past and current customers, if possible. Remember that a good MRP ERP solution will make sure your raw materials are ready and available for production. An MRP ERP solution will also ensure that the products you manufacture are ready and delivered to your customers. Maintaining low inventory is a goal for most manufacturers and an MRP ERP solution will do just that, as well as manage purchasing activities and manufacturing activities. |
