Enterprise Resource Planning Software is Becoming More and More Prevalent in Hong Kong

Microsoft is taking advantage of the Asian market by expanding its operations.  In 2008 Microsoft established two development centers; one in Shanghai and the other in Hong Kong.  The goal of these developments centers is to help medium and large sized organizations implement Microsoft ERP or Enterprise Resource Planning products.  Not only do the Microsoft development centers help businesses in Hong Kong implement their Enterprise Resource Planning software solutions, but they provide support and training services as well.  Oracle, one of Microsoft’s big United States based competitors, has also established offices throughout China.

ERP software in Hong Kong and Shanghai is definitely needed.  There are a number of local and global businesses based in Hong Kong that could benefit from an Enterprise Resource Planning solution.   Hong Kong has been a rather free economy since 1995.  Hong Kong’s economy depends highly on finance and international trade.   In fact, international trade is the most vital economic activity in Hong Kong.   Hong Kong exports billions of dollars in goods and services to the United States and other countries around the world every year.
