ERP SoftwareTop Enterprise Resource Planning Software Vendors for 2010In this article we are going to discuss the top small business ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) solutions, the top middle market ERP leaders, and the enterprise or large company ERP leaders. Keep in mind that these companies are ranked at the top of the ERP market in terms of revenue and functionality. These ERP vendors may not offer a product that is best for your unique needs. However, they are surely worth taking a look at. The top ERP software solutions for small businesses in 2010 include; Intacct, NetSuite, QuickBooks and NetBooks. Inacct has financial and distribution software. NetSuite’s solution offers financial, distribution, and CRM (customer relationship management) software functionality. NetBooks offers financial and accounting functionality. NetBooks offers a SaaS (software as a service) Enterprise Resource Planning small business solution. Inacct, NetSuite, and NetBooks compete with QuickBooks. The top ERP software providers in the middle market for 2010 are NetSuite and Aplicor. NetSuite, however, is more popular and more successful in the small business sector. Aplicor offers robust CRM functionality, distribution software, accounting software, manufacturing software, human resources software and payroll software. Aplicor works well for international organizations and global companies. The top ERP software providers in the enterprise SaaS ERP market for 2010 are SAP and Workday. Both companies are in the early stages of development with their SaaS ERP solutions. However, they are well positioned to control a large amount of the market share. SAP is a known veteran in the Enterprise Resource Planning world. And, Workday is a new company being guided by Enterprise Resource Planning veterans. The top ERP software provider that took the most Enterprise Resource Planning market share is 2010 is Oracle. Oracle hasn’t really committed to the SaaS ERP market by creating a solution. They do offer Oracle Financials as a quasi hosted solution. But, it is not truly a SaaS solution. With the SaaS market taking off, Oracle is going to have to fully commit or back out. The top ERP software provider in the SaaS market is Aplicor. Aplicor has customers in ninety-one different countries. This SaaS Enterprise Resource Planning was designed for international companies. It will be interesting to see what 2011 holds for these ERP vendors. The SaaS ERP market didn’t take off as much as predicted in 2010, so perhaps 2011 is the year for SaaS. |
