ERP Pricing

Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP pricing varies from high to low. There are many types of platforms and set ups to consider, when it comes to pricing for this software system. Then too, you will need to determine what type of system you’re looking for. You’ll need to take into consideration Web-based packages that are lower priced and easy to deploy. But first and foremost, determine what you’re looking for in an ERP package, and then you can go about pricing it. Consider the type of business you operate and look at some of the packages related to it.

Let’s look at some ERP companies and how their prices breakdown.
•    Infor ERP Facts has a price tag that varies between $5,000 and $50,000; the user range would be between 5 and 500 people.
•    SAP Business One can get you up and running for anywhere between $25,000 and $250,000, and that can accommodate anywhere between 25 and 1,000 users.
•    Compiere has a rate that runs between $750 and $995; it can accommodate between 10 and 10,000 users.
•    Syspro will get you set up for anywhere between $20,000 and $500,000; that would be for between 4 and 1,000 users.
•    NetSuite is Web-based. Its software runs between $10,000 and $100,000;the user base is between 10 and 250.
•    Sage has a product cost that ranges between $15,000 and $250,000; the user base is between 5 and 400

Do you notice the great fluctuation in ERP pricing?
•    Slingshot will get you going for $50,000 and up; that would be for 1-1,000 users.
•    Microsoft Dynamics can give you a Web-based solution or it can install servers on-site for you. The cost would run between $10,000 and $100,000.
•    Epicor has a cost of between $400 and $5,000 per month; that will accommodate between 1-50 users.
•    Abas Software is between $75,000 and $500.000; it can handle between 5 and 250 users.
•    Solarsoft has a cost of $3,000 per user; and its user range is 10 plus.
•    Plex Systems comes in at between $5,000 and $100,000 per month; the user range is between 20 and 1000 plus.
•    Made2Manage will cost between $20,000 and $300,000; the user range is between 5 and 500

That gives you some idea of the range for ERP pricing. But there are many more vendors to choose from as well as more price points to consider.
