ERP SoftwareFive of the Best ERPsTake it from me, the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution that is ranked to be the “very best” may not be the “very best” for your business. Alas, we are a numerical based society and we must measure ERPs in some way, shape or form. So, here goes. The first best ERP goes to SAP. I’m sure you already guessed SAP would take the cake. Anyway, if you don’t already know, SAP is a huge organization. If fact, they are the world’s largest ERP at the moment. Instead of acquiring companies to acquire functionality, SAP has built their products from the ground up. Historically, SAP has focused on large enterprise installations, but they now have products for small to mid-sized companies. They also offer e-business solutions through a web interface known as mySAP.com. SAP’s ERP software is suited for all industries. Good ole Microsoft has entered the ranks of the best ERP providers. Microsoft Dynamics makes front office ERP solutions, e-business ERP modules, management control ERP modules, manufacturing ERP modules, financial ERP modules, supply chain ERP modules, and customer relationship management ERP modules. FDM4 is doing their best to become one of the best ERP providers. They’ve been around for 30 years and they offer a robust functionally rich ERP solution. Their applications are best suited for the following industries; consumer products, fashion, apparel, footwear and industrial parts. Well that’s about it folks. Remember that ranking “the best ERPs” is truly impossible. For example, if you’re in the footwear industry, FDM4 might rank number one. If you need on-demand software, then NetSuite might rank number one. |
