Companies providing erp software solutions can benefit enormously by setting up their own accounts on multiple social media networking websites such as Facebook, Twitter, and Youtube especially. This is also, of course, due to their very purpose and intrinsic value as social networking and advertising websites to serve the needs of private individuals or businesses. As opposed to the other types of social media such as blogs and online forum sites, social media outlets like Facebook, Twitter and Myspace provide real-time, instantaneous, constant and regular customer interaction and responses to customer or user queries as the need arises.

How Companies Can Enhance the Promotion of their ERP Software Solutions Through the Use of Popular Social Media Sites like Youtube, Facebook , Twitter and Myspace, and Through Less-Known Social Media Networks Such as Blogs and Discussion Forums (Part I)

And of course, because they are more popular they have a wider global customer audience, whereas discussion forums or blog sites, because there is such a huge number of them and since they are owned or provided, for the most part, by smaller companies which possess a smaller global market reach and presence, only have a limited number of subscribers. However this does not mean that forums and blog spots do not serve a useful purpose, especially for companies providing erp software solutions. Their primary function, it appears, is providing an invaluable resource for questions individual Internet users may have about particular issues.

As such, they are an important tool for promoting the dissemination of technical data pertaining to erp software solutions, as well as providing a myriad of other solutions to problems or questions related to any particular field of human activity.  There is another element which needs to be emphasized; the majority of these blog sites and discussion forums are run by individual companies or businesses with a product or services to sell. For this reason, the majority of the subscribers who sign up for these forums are for the most part experts and professionals in the subject matter or field of study that a customer or private individual may have a question for.

Thus we can see how useful such less known networking websites are, to businesses seeking appropriate customized erp software solutions for their internal needs and/ or market activities, regardless of their level of popularity, market visibility and presence, and lower number of subscribers when compared to Facebook, Twitter or Youtube, for example. This is due to the fact that, in the end, these less popular social media sites still provide useful information and related data for anyone- small and big business, start up companies or private individuals interested in finding an answer or solution to a specific problem or issue.

And obviously the majority of these forums are accessible to anyone and not just the subscribers. This is another characteristic which makes even less popular social media outlets such as blogs and discussion forums an extremely useful source for any business seeking erp software solutions. Another reason which explains their visibility on the world wide web, despite the providers’ small number of subscribers and/or customers, is that such less-widely known networking media sites appear first place in the page results of any search engines, such as Google or Yahoo Answers, when an individual searches for an answer to a particular question.
