Tier II software solutions offered by a Tier I company?  Yes! That’s right.  Microsoft Dynamics reviews for Microsoft Dynamics NAV and GP are looking at Microsoft’s bid for entry into the small and midsized business market with their own Tier II offerings. There is money to be made in them there hills and Microsoft as much as any of their competitors in that market, knows it.
Enter Microsoft Dynamics.

ERP software solutions

Microsoft Dynamics review:  Tier II software solutions

Microsoft Dynamics NAV is described by ArcherPoint.com, “[a] midrange ERP business solution [which] instead of requiring businesses to conform the way they do business to the software, [Microsoft] Dynamics NAV was designed to adapt to the unique processes of your business.”

Running in a Windows environment, Dynamics NAV carries with it Microsoft support capability. Training and support are available and can sometimes be worked in to the negotiations.  Making this choice can be more expensive but can also be laying sound groundwork for future development. Add-ons are available for the future.
Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) is the accounting arm of this end to end midrange business solution.

Microsoft Dynamics GP features include:
•    Manufacturing and distribution
•    E-commerce
•    Financial management
•    Reporting tools Human resources management
•    Human resources management

Capital outlay is a major concern for midrange business on its quest to grow in size and profitability.  Microsoft Dynamics, reviewers note, offer more affordable, scalable alternative to full blown Tier I ERP solutions.  Tier II solutions are much more expensive with regard to total cost of ownership.  Implementation takes longer and business risks are greater in addition to the seven-figure price tags for the product alone.

Midrange business needs the functionality to remain competitive in the marketplace and Microsoft has recognized the opportunity that meeting this need offers. Microsoft Dynamics reviews have noticed that Microsoft have made a major commitment to development of the dynamics product line.  Sustainability seems to be the buzz word that is on the lips of most developers and Microsoft is no different.

Developing products that are responsive to the changing marketplace is what technology is made of as much as producing the latest and greatest new piece of hardware. Microsoft Dynamics, reviewed time and again as a product geared to do morph with and ahead of the times and the market. Microsoft has recognized that there is money to be made in them there hills and it may not be of the one size fits all variety.
