Human Resources deals with employee issues such as compensation, hiring, performance management, development, safety, wellness, benefits, employee motivation, communication, administration, and training. Modern Human Resources Departments provide effective policies, procedures, guidelines, and support. Moreover, human resources serves to make sure that the company’s mission, vision, and guiding principles are promoted in a way that guides the company toward further success. ERP is Enterprise Resource Planning. ERP consists of software systems that work to integrate all data sources and processes of a business into one, unified system. ERP systems make use of multiple components of computer software and hardware to achieve integration. Using a common database makes company information more reliable, accessible, and easily shared, improving the efficiency of the business. Human Resources is a necessary part of every enterprise. No company today can be successful without a well-functioning Human Resources department. The data received by this department needs to have continuous follow-up and evaluation to benefit the professional development and welfare of the company employees, but in order for this to happen effectively ERP is necessary, too. ERP is the tool that helps to link the personal skills and aspirations of the employees to the objectives and goals of the company. Human Resources is a module in an ERP system that collects data as it relates to an employee and integrates it to the other modules in the ERP software in order to complete the picture of the company’s workflow. Thus, Human Resources ERP is the bridge between the strategic and comprehensive approach to managing people and the workplace environment and the rest of the business’ operational functions. Human Resources ERP links the procedures taking place in HR to the data being processed from the rest of the company. Through the use of an ERP software system it is possible to facilitate the centralized control that allows the human resources management to focus on the responsibilities of hiring, incorporating, and developing personnel. Human Resources ERP is also useful for decision making, analysis, all-embracing management, and subsequent reports. Internal communication is also heightened. Regulations and procedures, opinion surveys, virtual welcome, business calendars, letters of appointment, news, and forums are but a few of the features that will be unified and later dispensed as part of the overarching company strategy. |
