Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or related field preferred; Graduate degree preferred
* Oracle University PeopleSoft Technical and Functional HCM training
* 8 plus years of working with the software development lifecycle including system analysis,
* 6 plus years of experience with PeopleSoft software implementations and/or upgrades (HCM 9.0 or 9.1 preferred)
* Experience with Oracle database and applying PeopleSoft updates & fixes
* Strong working technical knowledge of PeopleSoft Architecture, applications and PeopleTools
* Strong working PeopleSoft HCM functional knowledge in North American Payroll & General Ledger,
* Strong working technical knowledge of HCM data structures and relationships
* Strong working knowledge of PeopleSoft security
* The ability to work at a very high technical level for most phases of a project
* The ability to convert business requirements into system requirements
* Excellent problem solving and decision making skills
* Excellent time management skills and ability to balance multiple job assignments at once
* A high degree of attention to detail and excellent concentration
* Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude
* Ability to work with all level of stakeholders and educate in a non-technical manner
* Strong fundamental programming knowledge to convert logical design to program code
* Excellent judgment skills required due to use of confidential data
* Ability to work independently, as well as, part of a cross-functional team
* Ability to produce high quality work in a short period of time with little supervision
* Excellent organizational skills
* Strong communication skills- written, verbal and presentation
* Thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office product suite
* Ability to attend training courses, learn and apply new technologies

Responsibilities:

* Provide excellent customer service to all stakeholders and maintain effective working relationships
* Provide technical expertise & guidance to functional user community
* Develop technical program specifications; construct, modify or rewrite program code
* Use functional and technical knowledge of application configuration, objects and business processes to identify and solve problems.
* Provide immediate response and support to analyze and resolve high risk production problems that may impact payroll
* Develop technical solutions using Oracle's PeopleSoft Architecture, PeopleTools applications ng tools such as Query, Crystal, XML Publisher, SQR,
* Act as a technical lead for implementation projects, tool and application upgrades,
* Provide user community with the information and documentation they need to assess the impact of changes
* Advise user community regarding the technical implementation of any new process,
* Document and maintain system changes and follow approved change control methodology
* Provide technical support for annual HCM production processes such as Budget, Salary Planning and Open Enrollment, Tax updates, Year End, etc.
* Monitor and manage user requests in a timely manner using a collaborative bug/enhancement/issue tracking application
* Communicate effectively and collaborate with peers, functional users, management and third parties
* Develop, test and support batch reports and processes using standard reporting tools
* Develop, test and support complex interfaces with internal and external systems
* Submit and manage cases to the vendor if delivered functionality does not work as expected
* Assist with analysis of technical improvements and educate management
* Monitor vendor websites for new updates, enhancements, releases or product announcements
* Adhere to all organizational and IT policies and procedures
* Participate in business continuity exercises, upon request
* Maintain knowledge of available technologies through reading, training, webinars, conferences, networking and collaboration to solve business problems
* May oversee and coordinate the work of consultants on short-term engagements
* Perform other duties, as assigned
