Strategic Alliance/Partnership Manager

As the Strategic Alliance/Partnership Manager you will be accountable for helping to grow market share and exceeding sales goals for Higher One’s OneDisburse and CASHNet product suites by building strong business relationships with key partners.   Partnership Program Management experience is a must for this position.

 
In this role, you will implement strategic initiatives and build a partnership network which will help increase sales of Higher One product suite.  You will be responsible for developing new strategic partnership relationships and strengthening relations with Higher One’s existing partners.  You will work cross functionally with internal colleagues and peers to leverage relationships with key partners to increase sales and remain actively involved in partner accounts that impact business.

Tasks will include:

  • Building a partnership program to help drive sales and revenue
  • Recruiting and educating new partners
  • Training sales, client operations, and marketing on benefits of partnerships
  • Maintaining the relationship between Higher One and strategic partners
  • Measuring partnership effectiveness and success
  • Working with Marketing on campaigns designed to increase sales through partners
  • Understanding new software or product releases from partners and working with our Product Market Managers to make recommendations for subsequent enhancements to current CASHNet or OneDisburse offerings
  • Completing sales / partnership related administrative work, as required (via SalesForce.com update and management)
  • Travel up to 50% of the month (may be seasonal)

Requirements:

·         Bachelors degree

·         Five to ten years managing a Partnership Program required

·         Proven success of locating, negotiating and maintaining strategic partnerships

o    Experience in Higher Education or Financial Services preferred

o    Demonstrated experience making C-level contacts and calling on senior and middle management

·         Experience in relationship management preferred

o    Sales, Marketing and Business Development experience also a plus

·         Proven ability to work and lead projects across multiple departments

·         Excellent project management skills

·         Strong communications skills

·         Team player and individual contributor who thrives in a flexible, changing environment

·         Ability to conceptualize ideas well and communicate those ideas effectively
