We are seeking a Sr. PeopleSoft or Oracle Financials QA Tester to join their team of seasoned Quality Assurance professionals.
Requirements:
- Will be responsible for providing testing services and various testing techniques to outside clients. Our client offers a challenging and diverse environment that allows professionals access to some of the top technology in the market, along with an excellent benefits package.
- Should be context-driven testing of mission critical applications
- Should serve a key role in providing testing services to outside clients
- Should be using exploratory testing techniques and Rapid Testing methodology
- Should test case design and creation
- Should be writing test scripts based on requirements or test cases
- Should know execution of test scripts
- Should test execution review
Specific Requirements:
- Should have minimum of 3 years testing experience required
- Must have experience testing PeopleSoft Financials or Oracle Financials including: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger
- Must have experience working with software testing methodologies and various testing tools
- Should have familiarity with Exploratory Testing techniques
- Should have experience working on Microsoft Windows platforms
- Must be detail-oriented and analytical
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills that are supported by a strong work ethic
- Should have complete understanding of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Should have the ability to be self managed, work independently with minimal supervision in a team oriented environment.
- Should have the ability to create and execute SQL queries
- Should have a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related area strongly preferred
- Should have an experience in the financial services industry a plus
