We are currently seeking an experienced Peoplesoft Administrator UNIX ORaCle to join our IT team.

Requirements:

• Should provide upper level PeopleSoft and Oracle administration support in a diverse environment, including    business, manufacturing, research and development.
• Should provide focused operational support to customer project and support teams.
• Should provide advanced problem analysis and resolution. Contribute to process development and improvement.
• Should provide database and PeopleSoft Enterprise middle-tier consulting services (PeopleSoft, Oracle) for development and business customers, including performance tuning, features use and implementation.
• Should contribute to architectural directions and new features evaluation/implementation.
• Should collaborate with infrastructure teams to assess requirements, lead discussions on installation options, perform installation of core and supporting suite of products and configure them for various environments, lead performance assurance and tuning efforts in coordination with various cross-functional teams.
• Should own responsibility to define and implement processes for environment refresh and code migration including database, middle-tier and file system changes.
• Should administer version control for database- and file system objects.
• Should gather requirements, document and implement batch jobs, dependencies, monitoring and alerts. Provide knowledge transfer and transition core operational roles to support staff.
• Should have skills Minimum 5+ years experience in installing and administering PeopleSoft Enterprise products on Unix and 3+ years Oracle database administration experience, on a Unix platform (Sun Solaris 10 and SUSE Linux Enterprise 10).
• Should have substantial operational experience in a 24x7 environment. Solid knowledge of PeopleTools and Oracle RDBMS internals. Prefer PeopleSoft 9.0 experience.
• Should have strong analysis and decision-making skills. Excellent communications and presentation skills. Experience in technically leading a team is a definite plus. Experience with third-party database monitoring tools such as Quest FogLight and Quest Central. Strong development skills in Perl or Shell scripting languagesKeywords
• Should have education BS or greater in Computer Science preferred.
